Vikasa School wins overall championship

TUTICORIN OCT. 18. Vikasa School, Tuticorin won the overall championship with a total of 258 points and lifted the Green Channel Trophy in the Tuticorin-Tirunelveli districts inter-school swimming meet conducted by the Tuticorin District Aquatic Association and sponsored by SPIC Central Sports Council and Sterilite Industries at SPIC Nagar swimming pool here on Saturday.

Bell School Palayamkottai finished second with a tally of 84 points.

Individual champions: Boys: Group I: Pon Srivignesh (V.V. Classic School, Tuticorin); Group II: G. Manickaraj (SPIC HSS, Tuticorin); Group III: J. Ashwin Pranesh (Vikasa School, Tuticorin); Group IV: Ashok Rajan (Vikasa, Tuticorin).

Girls: Group I: Sneha Sivagami (Vikasa, Tuticorin); Group II: Rithu (Bell School, Palayamkottai); Group III: A. Yoshmitha (Vikasa, Tuticorin); Group IV: Divya Chellam (Vikasa, Tuticorin).
