NEW DELHI OCT. 18 . A Delhi court today sentenced three members of the Pakistan-sponsored terrorist outfit, Harkart-ul-Jehadi-e-Islami (HUJI), to 10 years rigorous imprisonment, holding them guilty of hatching a conspiracy to eliminate the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and kidnap cricketers, Saurav Ganguly, and Sachin Tendulkar, in 2002.

The Additional District Judge, S.N. Dhingra, sentenced the three — Mohammed Amran, Mohammed Abdul Majid and Mohammed Ashraf — under the Prevention of Terrorism Act and various Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
