Togadia blames PM

Bhubaneswar Oct. 19. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad today accused the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, of not applying enough pressure on the Mulayam Singh Yadav Government in Uttar Pradesh to ensure that Hindus could have darshan of the idol of Lord Ram at the disputed site in Ayodhya during the October 17 rally there. The VHP general secretary, Pravin Togadia, told reporters here that in fact, the Centre and the State Government joined hands to launch a ``repression'' on thousands of `Ram Bhakts' who wanted to attend the Sankalp Sabha planned at Ayodhya on October 17. — PTI
