Justice S.K. Agrawal adjourned the hearing after the Punjab Government counsel, Atul Nanda, and Sudhir Walia alleged that some material portions had been deliberately left out in the English translation of the FIR submitted to the court by Daler's counsel. The court directed the Punjab police to get the original FIR (in Punjabi) typed in the Devnagri script, submit to the court and also to give a copy to Daler's counsel. On October 16, while issuing notices on Daler's plea, Justice Agrawal had refused to grant any relief to the singer without hearing the Punjab police and the Delhi police. In their reply to Daler's anticipatory bail plea, the Punjab police accused the pop singer of deliberately trying to evade the investigation. ``The allegations made in the FIR are very serious in nature, and the material collected during the investigation unfolds a larger conspiracy having national and international ramifications.''
