Fifteen meet records set

KARAIKUDI OCT. 20. Fifteen meet records (seven in boys and eight in girls) were set in the two-day fifth Tamil Nadu State under-22 athletic championship, which concluded at the Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology ground here on Sunday.

The championship was jointly conducted by the Sivagangai District Amateur Athletic Association and Central Electro Chemical Research Institute, Karaikudi.

Prime Sports Academy, Chennai won the overall championship with a total of 86 points. Kovai Sports Club, Coimbatore claimed the boys' team championship with a total of 42 points and Prime Sports Academy claimed the girls team championship with a total of 65 points.
