Narain Karthikeyan finishes second

Mumbai Oct. 21. Tata Carlin Motorsport team driver Narain Karthikeyan rallied superbly after a slow start, to finish second and claim his fifth podium finish of the season at the Superfund World Series Nissan Championship at Valencia in Spain.

The Indian continued his consistent performance this season and consolidated his overall second place in the championship with a tally of 130 points, a Tata release said here on Monday.

In the race held earlier in the day, Narain was forced to retire from second position due to engine failure, the release said.
