India finishes runner-up

New Delhi Oct. 21. Indian judokas won five gold, a silver and three bronze medals to finish overall runner-up in the Thailand international junior Judo championships, which concluded recently.

Ram Ashrey Yadav, who won a gold, was also declared the best judoka of the championship, according to information received from the Judo Federation of India here.

The other gold medal winners are Virender Singh, Sazida Chana, Archana and Jina Devi. T. Rajesh Singh won the silver while Ibetombi Devi, Harpreet Kaur and Vikender Singh were the bronze medallists.
