BCCI to foot Ganguly's medical bill

KOLKATA OCT. 21. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to bear the expenses of Sourav Ganguly's treatment, according to the BCCI president, Jagmohan Dalmiya.

The BCCI will also ensure that he got the best available medical attention to complete his cure. Continuing with its policy of funding the treatment of senior team members, the BCCI has already sent the details of Ganguly's treatment, including the reports of all investigations so far, to the chief of its medical panel, Anant Joshi, whose advice will determine the future course of the captain's treatment.

The BCCI has made it clear that in order to ascertain the best treatment for Ganguly it could also get medical support from abroad, if the situation so warrants. — Our Sports Reporter
