Monsignor Felix Machado, Undersecretary, Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, Vatican City, writes:
I wish to inform that the tickets issued for any religious ceremony as well as for the general audiences of the Pope in the Vatican are always free of charge. In the news item after the ceremony of the beatification of Mother Teresa of Calcutta the term used was `ticket sales' by your correspondent (October 20, 2003). The tickets are meant to help organise the event and it is written on the back of every ticket that `this ticket is entirely free'. Thank you for carrying a special article on Mother Teresa by Navin Chawla.
