Salman trial postponed

MUMBAI OCT. 21. A magistrate court here today postponed the trial of Bollywood actor Salman Khan until November 18 in a hit-and-run case as the prosecution filed an application saying that the State had challenged the Bombay High Court order quashing charge 304 (2) of IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) against him in the Supreme Court.

The petition is likely to come up for hearing in the apex court after the Diwali vacation. — UNI
