By Our Staff Reporter

Srinagar Oct. 21. The three-member Pakistani delegation, headed by the chairman of the Pakistan Central Water Commission, Jamat Ali Shah, visited Chanderkote area of Doda district and inspected the 450-mw Baglihar Hydro-Electric Power Project this morning.

The team arrived on Monday evening at Patnitop.

The Pakistan team comprised of Mr. Shah, Azhar-ul-Haq and Waris Ahmed while the Indian delegation comprised of A.D. Bhardwaj, C.K.L. Das and J. Ramanath.

Mr. Shah told reporters at Chanderkote that "we have been wanting to visit the site since 1992 but could not do so because of some disagreement on the subject. After this visit, we can say that the treaty has been violated but I won't divulge the details at the moment. We have completed our work and will submit a full report of the project to our Government."
