Afro-Asian Games
If it was rain that had emerged as the latest major threat then the non-arrival of Ghana yet, has forced a minor curtailment of the schedule on the opening day of the football event of the Afro-Asian Games. It rained much of last night and most of the forenoon on Wednesday raising doubts as to whether the turf at the Lal Bahadur stadium would be able to take the toll of so many football boots pounding on it. However it was Ghana's non-arrival that remains a mystery.
