Sports World Beater's Talent Spotting scheme

MADURAI OCT. 22. For the Sports World Beater's Talent Spotting scheme at schools level, report cards have already been provided to all the schools, inclusive of Government, Aided, Self Financed, Corporation, Municipality, Matriculation, Anglo-Indian schools in Tamil Nadu for the 6th, 7th and 8th standard students.

Those boys and girls who have collected 10 or 9 points in any one game in the card may participate in the Educational District level completions and those selected may represent their Educational districts in the Divisional competitions.

According to Mr. Krupa, Madurai District Sports Officer, competitions in 100m, 200m, 400m, long jump, high jump and shot put for the Madurai, Usilampatti and Melur Educational Districts will be held at the following venues:

Melur: M.G.R. Race Course Stadium, Madurai, October 27, 8 a.m; Usilampatti: Saraswathy Higher Secondary School ground, Usilampatti, October 28, 8. a.m.; Madurai: M.G.R. Race Course Stadium, October 29, 8 a.m. — Our Correspondent
