Ms. Sarabhai, daughter of the doyen of Indian space science, Vikram Sarabhai, claimed that both the Joint Commissioner of Police and the Charity Commissioner had found no case against her in the complaint filed with the Navrangpura police by one Manushi Shah on behalf of 12 others. Ms. Sarabhai said the allegations against her were ``baseless'' as the entire amount had already been paid back to Ms. Shah and others. Ms. Shah claimed that Darpana, the dancing institute run by Ms. Sarabhai, promised to incude her and 12 others in the troupe on a trip to the United States for a performance in April, this year. Each member had paid Rs. 3.30 lakhs but were not given visa. They were not included in the team. Ms Sarabhai allegedly cheated the 13 by refunding only Rs 3.10 lakhs each.
