An official release issued by the State Government's Election Department, listing the number of constituencies in each district, stated that while Alwar had 11 Assembly constituencies, Udaipur and Nagaur had 10 each and Bharatpur, Ajmer and Jodhpur had 9 each. Sikar, Bhilwara and Pali districts have 8 constituencies each, while Jhunjhunu and Chittaurgarh have 7 each, Churu, Hanumangarh and Barmer have 6 each, and Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Dausa, Tonk, Kota, Jhalawar, Banswara and Jalore districts have 5 each. The comparatively smaller districts of Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bundi, Baran, Dungarpur and Rajsamand have four constituencies each and Dholpur and Sirohi have three each.
