HDFC Bank, Navy sign pact

NEW DELHI OCT. 25. HDFC Bank and Indian Navy have signed a pact to disburse the salaries to all naval personnel.

The Navy's Chief of Personnel, Venkat Bharathan, and HDFC's Seshan Ramakrishnan, signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect.

Henceforth, all naval personnel will be able to open the `special zero-balance defence salary' accounts.
