Sir, — The United States has at last declared Dawood Ibrahim a specially designated terrorist. This will trigger a request for his inclusion in the United Nations blacklist as well, which will prevent any member of the U.N. from sheltering him. R. Sekar,
Angul, Orissa

Sir, — Gen. Musharraf has been denying Dawood's presence in Pakistan. Now, the U.S. has officially declared him a global terrorist living in Karachi and published his address and Pakistani passport number. A time will come when the U.S. will have to deal with Pakistan in the same manner as it is dealing with Syria and North Korea.

S. Bhaktavatsalam,
Tirupati, A.P.
