A good beginning

Sir, — The talks between India and China are a good beginning for solving the controversial issue of boundary settlement. Much depends on adopting a pragmatic approach. China has taken a welcome step by removing Sikkim from the list of Independent Nations on its Foreign Ministry website. We should respond diplomatically and cautiously considering all the pros and cons.
