Indian boys continue good show

NEW DELHI OCT. 27. Abhijeet Gupta (boys' under-14), Ravi Teja (boys' under-10) and G. Madanasri (girls' under-10) maintained their all-win record to be among the leaders after four rounds of the World Youth chess championships at Halkidiki, Greece.

Point-position of the Indians (after four rounds):

Boys (under-10): S. Ravi Teja (4), Parimarjan Negi, Aditya Udeshi (3 each) and K. Priyadarshan (2); (under-12): R. Ashwath (2.5), Yuzvendra Chahal and Sankalp Modwal (2 each); (under-14): Abhijeet Gupta (4), Sai Srinivas (3), G. Rohit and Navin Kanna (2.5 each); (under-16): Koneru Humpy, Deepan Chakkravarthy, Akshayraj Kore and Nikhilesh Kumar (3 each); (under-18): Saptarshi Roy (2.5) and Himanshu Kumar (2).

Girls (under-10): G. Madanasri (4), Lakshmi Sahiti (3), G. Sirisha and M. Priya (2 each); (under-12): I. Ramya Krishna (3.5), Lakshmi Praneetha (3) and Dhyani Dave (2.5); (under-14): D. Harika (3.5), J. Rajasuriya, N. Raghavi (2.5 each) and Kajari Chokshi (2); (under-16): N. Vinuthna (3); (under-18): P. Priya (2).
