PW threat: more quit TDP

ANANTAPUR OCT. 27. Resignations by TDP leaders in the district, as a fall-out of the ultimatum issued by the People's War group to TDP and BJP leaders to quit their party and Government posts by November 10, continued in several mandals on Monday. Those who announced their resignation

on Monday included two mandal parishad presidents and two ZPTC members.

According to information reaching here, the ZPTC members from Kanaganapalli and Peddabbai, and the vice-president of mandal parishad, Bali Reddy, announced their resignation at a press meet at Kanaganapalli.

At another press meet at Roddam, the ZPTC member, Narasimhulu, the mandal parishad president, Chalapati, and 14 others of the party also put in their papers both to the party and their posts.

Meanwhile, the mandal president of C.K. Palli, Prasadamma, resigned to the party along with her husband, C. Venkataramudu, who is the mandal convenor of the party, and Krishna Reddy, the mandal president of the party.
