Serious issues ignored: Pak.

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD Oct. 27. Pakistan today blew hot and cold over the 12 confidence building measures (CBMs) unveiled by India last week. On one hand, it promised to give a "robust and constructive" response to them. On the other, it complained that the CBMs did not seek to address any serious and contentious issues of concern to Pakistan including the "core issue of Kashmir".

New Delhi had proposed dates for the second round of discussions on the restoration of air links and Islamabad would respond to the invitation at the earliest, the Foreign Office spokesman, Masood Khan, acknowledged at a press conference here.
