Four suspected dengue cases

VIZIANAGARAM OCT. 27. Four suspected cases of dengue fever — two each in Vizianagaram and Piridi in Bobbili mandal — were reported in Vizianagaram district, the District Medical and Health Officer, B.A. Ramaiah, said here on Monday.

Dr. Ramaiah told reporters that blood samples of 22 persons (nine in Vizianagaram and 13 in Piridi) were sent to Ronald Ross Institute in Hyderabad for confirmation.

The reports suspected prevalence of dengue in four persons — Korupaka Sravathi (8) and Madhupaka Demodara Aruna Prasad (14) of Mamata Marg Colony, Vizianagaram and Uttarakumari (31) and Charmila (8) of Piridi.
