Sir, K.R. Malkani, the Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, who passed away on Monday was very simple and a gentleman to the core. He never got upset at any point of time. He was jailed under MISA from 1975 to 1977 and then was born his famous book "The Midnight Knock" (1977), a landmark publication. Let the tribe of Malkanis increase.
