Six killed in accident

HYDERABAD OCT. 28. Six persons were killed and seven others were injured when a Hyderabad-bound RTC bus mowed down a group of people buying custard apples on a roadside near Vontimamidi village of Medak district, about 50 km from here, on Tuesday evening.

According to police, the express bus was coming from Jagitial in Karimnagar.Four fruit vendors and two buyers died on the spot. A two-year-old son of a couple survived the accident while his parents died on the spot. The police identified one of the victims as Yugandhar of Langar Houz locality in Hyderabad.

The other victims were: Veeraboyina Yadaiah, Narsamma, Laxmi and Prameela.
