Letters to the Editor
Sir, I would like to narrate two distinguished personalities' comments on Mother Teresa. When she received the Padmashree in 1962, Jawaharlal Nehru told his sister Vijayalakshmi Pandit "I don't know how you felt, but I had difficulty restraining my tears." When Ronald Reagan presented her the medal of freedom he said "this is the first time I have... the intuition that the recipient might take it home, melt it down sell the gold and spend the money on the poor."
