The Hindu-Young World quiz contest final on Nov. 1

HYDERABAD OCT.29. The Grand All-India Final of The Hindu Young World Quiz 2003,which was conducted across 10 centres in the country, will be held at Hari Hari Kala Bhavan here on November 1.

The Hindu has lined up attractive prizes not only for the winners but also for all the participating teams in the preliminary rounds and the All-India Final. Quizwallahs, a professional team, will conduct the grand finale in which regional finalists from 10 centres would be participating.

The Hindu Young World Quiz 2003 is sponsored by Eveready batteries in association with Coca Cola and Andhra Bank. The event is co-sponsored by Britannia, Camlin, NIIT, Titan Fastrack, Sify iway, TI Cycles, Liberty shoes, Base terminal, Hansaplast, Competition Success Review, Nissin foods, Visu Consultants, White House shirts, Sangeet Sagar and Paradise hotels.

The Hindu Young World supplement, published every Saturday, is in its 13th year of publication. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of this supplement, The Hindu conducted an Inter-School Quiz contest across the country in 2000.
