Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
Citing `very favourable' response from the high comand, it said it was time the Forum worked for the defeat of the ruling TDP and bringing the Congress back to power in the State. The CFT leaders, K Keshav Rao, M Kodanda Reddy and K.R Amos, told reporters on Friday that following the positive response, the CFT presidium decided not to embarrass the party leadership further when early elections to the Assembly were on the cards. In order to defeat the "anti-Telangana" TDP, the Congress would have to concentrate on forging alliances with all the forces working for statehood for Telangana, including the TRS, they said.
