Dead sea horses seized

CHENNAI NOV. 1. Dead sea horses, weighing 35 kilograms, were seized from the cloakroom of the Chennai Airport today.

The consignment was stashed away in two unclaimed bags deposited in the cloak room on October 29. Noticing a foul smell emenating from the bags, the attendant alerted airport police personnel on Saturday.

The police removed the two bags from the room and found the sea horses in them. They handed over the bags to Forest department officials.
