Amending POTA

Sir, — The amendment to POTA, conferring powers on the Review Committees to scrutinise complaints, and making the decisions of the committees binding on governments, should be welcomed whole-heartedly. Though it is a move to please the NDA allies with an eye on the elections, it is a right step forward.
