Not a politician

Sir, — We met K.R. Malkani at the Deendayal Research Institute where he was vice-president 20 years ago. He was a man of integrity and conviction Once we even told him "we can't believe you are an RSS man," and he laughed heartily. He was a historian and a true nationalist but never a politician.
