Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
HYDERABAD, NOV. 2. Well-known dental and orthodontic teacher, Bodhanapu Seshadri, has been selected for the Sivananda Eminent Citizen Award 2003 for his contribution to the field of medicine. He is the founder-Principal of the Government Dental College and Hospital at Hyderabad. Instituted by the Sanathana Dharma Charitable trust, the award carries Rs. 30,000 in cash and a citation, which will be presented at a function here on November 6. The Trust has also selected the following for the eminent citizen award: Madhura Krishna Murty Sastry (astrologer), S. Raghunatha Sarma, I. Panduranga Rao (scholars), N. Rama Mohan Rao (journalist), P. V. Parabrahma Sastry (epigraphist), Mukkamala Radhakrishna Sarma, Tummala Koteswara Rao (academician), Sattiraju Lakshminarayana (Bapu) (film director), Mullapudi Venkata Ramana (writer), Dwaram Mangatharyaru (musician) and Devala Chinni Krishnaiah (educationist).
