Best small-scale entrepreneur award for Anantapur resident

Hyderabad Nov. 2. R. Ananthaiah of Siflon Drugs, Anantapur, was adjudged best small-scale entrepreneur for 2002-03, while K. Hari Babu of Anus Laboratories, Shadnagar, was given the award for 2001-02 on the occasion of Small Scale Industries Day at a function at Jubilee Hall here on Sunday.

K. Gopi Raju of Rotec Transmissions, Patancheru (2002-03) and V.L. Narayana Reddy of Sri Venkateswara Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, BHEL, Medak (2001-02), were given the second prize.

N. Raja Reddy of Kaveri Polymers, Warangal (2002-03) and R.V. Rajasekhar of Zenith Engineers, Visakhapatnam (2001-02) were given the third prize. T. Kamala Kumari of Ferro Tech, Patancheru (2003-02) and G. Smitha of Kalyan Polymers, Krishna district (2001-02) were awarded best woman entrepreneur award.

L. Venkateswara Rao of Sree Rama CNC Tech, Patancheru was awarded the Best SC entrepreneur for 2002-03, while Ajmera Arvind Naik of Anu Paper Industries, Adilabad was awarded best ST entrepreneur for 2002-03.

S. Satyanarayana of Esskay Machine Tools, Balanagar for quality products, R. Narasimha Raju of Mahidhara Chemicals Patancheru for R&D and P. Subba Rao of Ananth Technologies of Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for small-scale entrepreneur were honoured for winning the national awards in 2000 from Andhra Pradesh.

Amarnath Dovuri of Merritronix, Kushaiguda for special award for SC/ST entrepreneur and K.V. Chalapathy Rao of Modern Arcwelding Works of Krishna district for quality products were honoured for winning national awards in 2001 from the State.
