Bihar
The supplementary budget would be tabled on December 15. The session will transact official business on December 16 and 17 followed by a discussion on the agenda on non-governmental issues, Assembly sources said. The Comptroller and Accountant General (CAG) report for the year 1999-2000 would not be placed during the short session due to legal reasons, the sources said. Though the Governor received the CAG report for 1999-2000 a few months ago, it could not be tabled in both the Houses during the monsoon session due to legal reasons. The CAG report was related to unified Bihar and after bifurcation of the State in November 2000, the report could be tabled only when the Assemblies of Bihar and Jharkhand meet at the same time. -- PTI
