Letters to the Editor
Sir, The Government should tender an unconditional apology to S.A.R. Geelani and Afsan Guru for their imprisonment. The Government cannot restore their lost years but at least they should be adequately compensated.
D.B.N. Murthy,
Sir, Mr. Geelani and Ms. Guru were let off only on technical grounds. The attitude displayed by Mr. Geelani while addressing a press conference after his release was not in good taste.
Ranganayaki Akkiraju,
