According Dr. Mrinmoy Nandy, one among the team of doctors treating him, Ganguly is doing exceedingly well and has been advised physiotherapy to hasten his return to action. The doctor said all the superficial stitches have been removed and Ganguly has been advised a rehabilitation programme that will soon make him match fit. Ganguly, who was forced out of action for almost a month owing to an infection in the wound, visited the Pankaj Gupta indoor coaching facility at the Eden Gardens. He spent an hour doing light workouts, did some catch practice and knocked a few balls without padding up. The captain said that he was hopeful of joining the team before India's tri-series action at Bangalore on November 12. Our Sports Reporter
