Madhya Pradesh
By Our Special Correspondent
Sending a clear message to the party rank and file, Mr. Nath said in a statement that the tickets allotted by the Congress in Madhya Pradesh had the concurrence of both the Chief Minister and his own. Expressing confidence that the Congress would ride back to power in the State for the third time in a row, Mr. Digvijay Singh appealed to the party workers that time had come for each of them to work diligently so that the Bhartiya Janata Party was defeated. The statement comes at a time when reports of groupism and inner-party wranglings between supporters of various leaders, especially those who failed to make the list were emanating from various parts of the State.
