IAF copter crashes, two killed

HYDERABAD NOV. 6. Two persons were killed when an Indian Air Force copter which was on a training sortie crashed on Thursday near Shamirpet, 40 km from here. The victims were identified as Srivastava (trainee) and Gokul (trainer). Reasons for the crash were not yet known. The copter crashed at Antayyapalli near Shamirpet.

The IAF men cordoned off the area preventing mediapersons from reaching the accident spot and said they were probing the reasons for the mishap. The Alwal ACP, P. Rama Rao and senior IAF officials visited the spot.
