Kerala
By Our Special Correspondent
The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at Ms. Gouri's residence and the Razan fast would be broken there, according to reliable sources. However, the Kerala Congress(B) leader, R. Balakrishna Pillai, and the Communist Marxist Party leader, M.V. Raghavan, said they were not aware of such a meeting. The IUML has taken the initiative to convene the meeting of the UDF partners, barring the Congress, as part of its State working committee's decision to hold bilateral discussions with UDF partners to end the crisis. The IUML general secretary, E. Ahmed, is arriving here tomorrow, while all other leaders are already in station. Mr. Ahmed, along with the Industries Minister, P.K. Kunhalikutty, is expected to hold preliminary discussions with the UDF leaders, individually and in groups. The IUML has not revealed its real intentions in convening such a meeting, though officially, the party has stated that the bilateral exercise is for resolving the crisis amicably.
