Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is heartening to see that the RBI Governor is seized of the problems of the poor pensioners who are struggling hard to survive in the face of ever increasing inflation and dwindling interest income. Though he suggests that there must be special windows for them, neither any workable solution nor a special scheme has been propounded by him for the amelioration of the pensioners' lot. It is earnestly hoped that at least in the ensuing budget, the Government will formulate a favourable scheme for the pensioners and senior citizens.
T.M. Sundararaman,
