On The Hindu

Sir, — The Hindu has played a big role in my life. During 1949-51, I was the proud recipient of The Hindu/ Kasturiranga Iyengar Scholarship when I was studying in intermediate course at the Kumbakonam Government College. Though the amount may look small today, it was of immense help for a poor student like me.
