Additional charge for Barnala

BHUBANESWAR NOV. 7. The Andhra Pradesh Governor, Surjit Singh Barnala, took the additional charge as the Governor of Orissa today. The Orissa Governor, M.M. Rajendran, has gone on leave.

Mr. Barnala was administered the oath of office and secrecy by the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, Justice Sujit Burman Roy, at Raj Bhavan. The Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, and several others attended the function.
