Police lathi-charge dead patient's kin

KOLKATA NOV.10. Police lathi-charged relatives of a patient who died in a nursing home last night at Kestopur area in North 24 Parganas district. The Additional Superintendent of Police, Ajoy Nanda, said that the police resorted to the action after the relatives ransacked the nursing home and assaulted a doctor alleging "negligence of treatment". No arrest had been made in this connection so far, he added. — PTI
