Strike by KSRTC staff

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM NOV. 11. A 24-hour strike by the staff of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) against the move to privatise the nationalised routes got under way at midnight.

The strike, called by the major trade unions in the KSRTC, will paralyse the travel facilities on nationalised routes on Wednesday. The unions decided to go on a strike following the failure of their discussions with the KSRTC management about their 12-point charter of demands.
