Mongolian Minister calls on Fernandes

NEW DELHI NOV. 11. The Defence Minister of Mongolia, Jugderdemid Gurragchaa, called on the Defence Minister, George Fernandes, here today.

Mr. Gurragchaa was accompanied by a four-member delegation.

Both the countries laid emphasis on defence cooperation as part of efforts to promote overall bilateral relations.

Both the leaders discussed the possibility of capacity building and training in areas of enhancing English language skills, IT, peacekeeping, equipment repair and maintenance.

The Mongolian delegation evinced interest in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions.

Mr. Gurragchaa is here on an eight-day visit.
