The penalty works out to about Rs. 485 crores, taking the amount Reliance will have to pay for unified licence to Rs. 1,581 crores. A Reliance Infocomm spokesman has already gone on record stating that the company would abide by whatever the Government decides on the unified access services license (UASL). The additional entry fee for Reliance State-wise would be: Rajasthan Rs. 12.25 crores, Uttar Pradesh (East) Rs. 30.25 crores, Maharashtra Rs. 277.66 crores, Karnataka Rs. 171.83 crores, Punjab Rs. 131.75 crores, Andhra Pradesh Rs. 68.01 crores, Haryana Rs. 11.46 crores, Kerala Rs. 20.54 crores, U.P. (West) Rs. 15.55 crores, West Bengal Rs. 53.01 crores, Tamil Nadu Rs. 183 crores and Delhi Rs. 120.7 crores. Bharti Telenet will have to pay an additional entry fee of Rs. 332.99 crores for migrating to the single licence regime. The cost of migration to other players are: Tata Teleservices Rs. 69.01 crores for Gujarat, Rs. 171.83 crores for Karnataka, Rs. 183 crores for Tamil Nadu, and Rs. 120.70 crores for Delhi.
