`A move to bury voice of democracy'

AHMEDABAD Nov. 11. Journalists in Rajkot today took out a rally and held a demonstration to protest against the Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker's order against the senior journalists of The Hindu and Murasoli. In a memorandum addressed to the president, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, which was submitted to the District Collector, the Rajkot Working Journalists Consortium described the order as a move to ``bury the voice of democracy'' in the country and offend the ``spirit of journalism.''
