Two missing TN schoolboys traced

By Our Staff Reporter

Pondicherry Nov. 11 . Two schoolboys, Muruganandham and Hassan Mansoor, from Porto Novo in Tamil Nadu, who ran away from their homes on November 9, were traced at Krimambakkam on the Pondicherry-Cuddalore route today by a team of police officials of the Bahoor block.

The police said the two were first accompanied by their classmate, Parthiban, but he was asked to leave their company at Cuddalore. Parthiban returned home. One of the students said he had a cash of Rs.195 when they left home after lunch break on Tuesday last. Throwing their books into a bush, the two came down to Pondicherry and worked in a juice stall. When they returned from Pondicherry on foot, covering a distance of 17 km, they were located by the police at Krimambakkam.

The two were handed over to their parents.
