Five hurt in group clash

HYDERABAD NOV. 11. Four persons sustained knife injuries and another received bullet injury on the chest following a clash between two groups at Hussainialam on Tuesday night.

According to police, an advocate, Kuddoos Ghori (30) of Fatehdarwaza, was travelling in a car along with three of his friends when a gang, led by Masood, allegedly intercepted their vehicle and attacked with knives and swords.

Ghori and three others accompanying him sustained knife injuries in the attack. Masood sustained a bullet injury on his chest when Ghori allegedly shot at him with a firearm.

While Ghori and three others were admitted to the Osmania General Hospital, Masood was shifted to Asrah hospital at Charminar.

The South Zone DCP, Harish Kumar Guptha, and other senior police officials rushed to the spot. The Hussainialam police are investigating.
