Letters to the Editor
Sir, Pakistan has burnt all its bridges with India by encouraging cross-border terrorism. But India is willing to mend fences with its hostile neighbour. It has announced a series of confidence-building measures, notwithstanding the fact that Pakistan has proved time and again that "a fox can only grow grey, but not good". But now, our Defence Minister says that Pakistan is too small to pose a threat to India. This type of statement by those at the helm of affairs is not good for the nation. H. Ghouse Baig, Tiruchi, T.N.
