The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two plaes over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Karnataka, rose appreciably at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over Rayalaseema and changed little elsewhere over the region.
They were below normal at one or two places over interior Tamil Nadu and Coastal Karnataka, above normal at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and were generally normal over rest of the region.
Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.
FORECAST (Valid until Friday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana and Karnataka.
